We are thrilled to be part of RackSpace's newly announced AppMatcher community. This exciting marketplace enables business of all sizes to easily search and find SaaS applications to run their business. AppMatcher removes the frustration and challenges of navigating the myriad of SaaS applications by helping organizations quickly hone in on applications that fit their specific needs.
Borrowing from the concept of online dating, AppMatcher transforms the process of searching for applications through sophisticated targeting. The AppMatcher experience has two major components:
- AppMatcher uses profile and preference data to help users find ideal apps. Users answer four simple questions: company size, industry, department and title. AppMatcher then filters available applications to identify those that best match user's specifications.
- AppMatcher "Locker" enables users to centrally organize, review and introduce SaaS applications to the entire organization. Individual lockers are interconnected to create a centralized collaboration portal where all reviews and opinions of SaaS applications are shared. As new applications match user profiles, they appear in lockers as suggested applications, removing the need to search for new applications.
